Tips for better Commentaries

Getting comfortable
Ø Whenever making videos you have to be in the most comfortable position
Ø Make sure that you are in an area of your home that you feel most comfortable
Ø Be sure that either everyone that lives or is placed in your home is either quite or in the other room. (It’s best to make videos alone, or over voice chat)
Ø If you are making a video with friends nearby and you are nervous and don’t want them to hear you its best you wait to make the video until you feel comfortable
Pre-Recording
Ø Be sure that all of your programs are running properly
Ø Make sure that you are saving to the proper locations
Ø Check your audio and make sure that your hardware is working (Microphone, Capture Cards, Headsets, and ETC)
Ø Write yourself a script or maybe write down on a piece of paper in bullet format of what you’d like to talk about and or what happened (if Prerecorded Footage)
Ø Have water or some type of drink on hand (wet your whistle
)While Recording
Ø If you have a camera going be sure to maintain some eye contact with the camera
Ø Make sure you stick to subjects and not get to off track
Ø Make sure that your voice is clear and crisp
Ø Have a voice that will make people want to keep watching. Don’t have a low and un-outgoing voice that makes people want to skip to the next video.
Ø Be sure to have small little burst of energy because if people are watching you might be losing your grasp on them that will draw them back in.
After Recording
Ø Make sure your video has been recorded to the fullest
Ø Add in your own watermark, intro, and outro
Ø Add in all your footage
Ø Watch the preview of your video before you waste your time to render
Ø Make sure all your render settings are set to the proper settings
Ø Render your video at least 720p or 1080p at 30 fps
Ø Watch the rendered video and be sure that it has rendered properly
Uploading
Ø (Partner Only) While uploading be sure to claim your video with your TGN, Google AdSense id
Ø Make sure to put a proper title, description, and tags for the video

Ø Add the video to a playlist (if you have one)
After Uploading
Ø Upon competition of the video upload review the video and be sure that everyone is sized right and is in sync
