Hi yttalk people,
Would you recommend to promote your videos on a platform even if you expect a negative audience from it (like 50%++ thumbs down from that audience)? Do the views of that 50%++ thumbs down audience outweight it?
I'm affected by this dilemma in two ways:
1. My channel is kind of controversial. It's a prank channel but kind of extreme. Most random persons would consider many of my videos / video ideas over the top (too mean towards the victims).
2. I have no actively followed fanpages on social media yet and personally I only use Facebook and admittedly my FB friends list is extremely low quality. I would consider 5 people friends of mine in my life and the rest of my 207 Facebook contacts are just quick acquaintances and schoolmates of the 3 different high schools I have visited. I was kind of a lone wolf at school, on rare occasions even bullied and many of my FB contacts click thumbs down on my videos just because they think it's cool to give me (ME) thumbs down while I have almost no people who would support me because they like me. The paragraph 1. applies here too, many would be shocked by the content.
Alright, now you know why I'm asking. The question is in the bold paragraph at the top.
Don't recommend changing video content or cleaning up my Facebook list (I would have 10 contacts left, lol. And I use the Facebook list for other things)!
Sorry for my English, I'm from Germany.

- ^ I would be worried to share that kind of video on a forum/social network of random people. If it was only for the thumbs up/down ratio, I'd better only rely on a small forum dedicated to those so called "Twitch raids" and on users finding my content by the respective keywords.
