thumbnails not updating?

So my partner in crime and I did quite a bit of renovations for out channel, updated layout ext, all went smoothly...
However.. while updating the thumbnails, some of them just don't seem to be updating in the video manager. Entering the edit screen, the thumbnail is still wrong on the video image. However the selected thumbnail is correct.
Its been a couple days since we've done the housekeeping and some thumbnails are still the outdated ones.

Has anyone else noticed this, I presume youtubes to blame ofc. but Has anyone got any suggestions to fix this problem?

Broken thumbnails haunt my sleep >_> i see it... text... out of color sync.. oh the humanity make it sthap!
 
Its just a localized thing. The thumbnail will have changed. It just takes a while to update. I have had the same issues and its taken up to three days for me to see a change. but to everyone else it will have changed :) try clearing your Cache. Might help.
 
It takes days no matter what you do. I always change it, then switch it, then change it back just to "refresh" it, but it still takes a long a** time. Not really anything you can do.

the thumbnail just takes a while to update if the video is already live :) if its private/scheduled then I believe that it changes straight away :)
