Thumbnails look grainy.

It looks okay for me actually. And a very out of topic question but, how'd you get that color-wheel like background for your thumbnails?

There are a few ways you can do it but I selected lazy-mode and downloaded a bunch of sun-ray shapes. I just drag it to my desired size, select a color for the rays; then on a separate layer, select a color fill layer.[DOUBLEPOST=1369911494,1369911056][/DOUBLEPOST]
Oh okay, NOW I see some grainy parts. What's the file size of the pic again? Also, PNG is supposed to be HD. Doesn't really make sense. Maybe a Youtube glitch? There're lots of possibilities. I myself wouldn't really mind seeing grainy thumbnails (I have lots on my channel) So it's not much of a big deal. As long as the content's nice and you have a custom thumbnail. :)
I use 1280 x 720 px :thumbsdown2:

I think it's just Youtube, to be honest. Something with the way they compress the picture gives it a slightly grainy look. It happens to all thumbnails, I think.
Ahh, that would explain why it looks bad; now the question is why only mine? :pompus: Oh, Youtube.

I see a slight difference. (It still looks very good) Are you using 'web-safe colours'? That might make a slight difference? Also, did you try saving the thumbnails in 'save for web'?
