Thumbnails look grainy.

My thumbs look great when I have it on my Photoshop (CS4) but when I upload it for my video it turns out looking low quality and grainy. The video I have in my sig is a good example of what it looks like. It also looks grainy on my Youtube channel and on other sites I visit to promote myself. I don't think it's my screen because I look at video thumbs of other channels and forum members and their's look fine.

The file size is 1280 x 720 and I save it as a PNG-24 file. I don't know what I could be doing wrong.

It looks okay for me actually. And a very out of topic question but, how'd you get that color-wheel like background for your thumbnails?

Try saving it as a jpg and save it as high quality as you can, remember no bigger than 2mb.

It looks like that on the channel but it looks perfect on Photoshop. Could it just be my screen? Hmm.

Try a curves adjustment, Might make it brighter and can take the edge of grains some times, if not, try a warming photo filter

I just tried that and it didn't seem to change the graininess.

Oh okay, NOW I see some grainy parts. What's the file size of the pic again? Also, PNG is supposed to be HD. Doesn't really make sense. Maybe a Youtube glitch? There're lots of possibilities. I myself wouldn't really mind seeing grainy thumbnails (I have lots on my channel) So it's not much of a big deal. As long as the content's nice and you have a custom thumbnail.

I think it's just Youtube, to be honest. Something with the way they compress the picture gives it a slightly grainy look. It happens to all thumbnails, I think.
