Would any of you be interested in a quick and simple tutorial of how I make my thumbnails? Geared towards people who are just starting out? I will attach my previous thumbnails, and hopefully you guys can give your opinion if you would watch a tutorial like this.

Absolutely, and I am probably going to make one myself when I get time. I would be interested in the different techniques, and would love to be able to link an annotation to a secondary style.

I personally think your thumbnails wouldn't be easy on the eyes when scaled down to the size they are on youtube.
The text should always be Thick/bold and big. You have to remember these things are going to be scaled to about 1/8th of the size you see when you make them.

Edit - A good way to check your thumbnails is to look at them at about 16-15% size, and see if they are readable.

Go to my channel, because they are pretty easy to read.

Lol ooookay. Let's not listen to the graphics designer at all. He must not know what he's talking about when it comes to this type of stuff.

I never said you did`t. I said i checked my channel under videos and they seem fine. All I said is go check my channel out..I appreciate the advice man

And Im just saying you should check them at 15%. (Which is what most people will see them at) and you'll notice, for example that the last thumbnail you uploaded here is COMPLETELY unreadable at 15%. If you got rid of the awkward blue glow and used a solid text, however, it wouldn't be a problem.
