Thanks for the help, I use Premiere to edit I will look in the menus, or just printscreen the video :)

Oh awesome, that's what I use as well. Not sure what version you're using, but there should be an 'export frame' button in the playback window area :)[DOUBLEPOST=1376398340,1376398182][/DOUBLEPOST]
Like i said either in the video editing program or a video player you can export the frame. Sounds like you are suggesting to watch the video and printscreen it, which is...sloppy.

Hmm yeah I guess that's true, it's just seemed like a good enough way for me for a small thumbnail photo. Mind you, I only have one video and have only done it once haha :1
And yeah I guess it also makes even more sense to capture the screenshot before more compression is applied at export :)[DOUBLEPOST=1376398521][/DOUBLEPOST]

And by "playback window" I meant "program monitor area" technically :)

I will definitely try to do it from Premiere first I've just never done it before, I assume it is easy to do.

Personally I just open the video file in windows media player at 1280x720 (thumbnail size) and take a printscreen of the part I want (ALT+Printscreen only captures the current open window) then just crop out the media player boarders when I photoshop the the thumbnail :)
