Like i said either in the video editing program or a video player you can export the frame. Sounds like you are suggesting to watch the video and printscreen it, which is...sloppy.
Hmm yeah I guess that's true, it's just seemed like a good enough way for me for a small thumbnail photo. Mind you, I only have one video and have only done it once haha :1
And yeah I guess it also makes even more sense to capture the screenshot before more compression is applied at export [DOUBLEPOST=1376398521][/DOUBLEPOST]

And by "playback window" I meant "program monitor area" technically
