Thumbnail Replaced?

Hey all!

So, I just logged on to YouTube tonight to check my views - and I noticed that the thumbnail on my most recent video was wrong. When I went to edit, one of the default thumbnails was showing as the "custom thumbnail" - there was no trace of the original.

I'm a bit confused, as I know it was up earlier today. Apologies if this is a known issue, but has anyone experienced something like this?

Fair enough - I re-uploaded it, waiting for it to switch to default. I can't seem to find any google results, and didn't see any notifications or emails about it. Just nervous that if it was intentionally "removed" for whatever reason, I don't want to get in trouble for doing whatever it is again.
 
My thumbnails dont show sometimes or are diffdrent to the vids,i just give it time and double check that i have the correct image
 
I've had something similar happen before. I put up a thumbnail after I upload and it doesn't show up until a whole day later. You might want to try waiting it out for a day to see if it clears up.
 
I don't think you have to worry about getting into trouble, I bet it's just another little problem YouTube is having. :)
 
Yeah, it's weird - it does take a bit for the thumbnail to populate - but this is the first time it updated and then reverted. Ah well, reuploading seems to have fixed it. I'll just have to hope it sticks this time.
