Hello. I need help with Thumbnails copyright laws. Here what is happening.
I had almost no banners on my videos. Few days ago i spent all day and made thumbnails to all of my 39 videos. I just google the name of the game that i play and under the images tab in google i download, add text and upload. Then it hit me... Some of the pictures obviously are made by the game company and others are made from fans and they may be copyrighght protected. All of my videos are monetized. I am scared now. Here are my questions.
1. It is highly possible that some of the wallpapers are copyrighted?
2. It's been two ~ thre days and nothing hapened. This mean i am ok with those thumbs?
3. If they are copyrighted. Can i take just 1/4 from the wallpaper and edit it?
4. If they are copyrighted. If somehow i find who are the owners and give proper attribution, am i ok?
