Getting initial viewers and getting repeat viewers are a totally different game. If you aren't getting any views at all, you are doing something wrong with either your titles, tags, descriptions, thumbnails, or a combination of any of these SEO techniques.
 
Instead of taking people to the feed, in your channel settings, set it to take them to your featured video.

I've heard it discussed that autoplay, may miscalculate your views, so make sure it is off. Note that, most views will not come from your channel, but posts on this forums can direct people to your channel. When they get there, have your best content as your featured. If it's captivating enough and they click play, well you know the rest works I am sure...

Thanks but i am not sure how to set up feature videos, and im probebly gonna take this thread down cause i got a ton of views recenle, 50 yesterday and 17 today. most of them for only 1 vid, its view count dwarfs the rest for some reason.
 
It's pretty easy, just go into your channel, then to "Channel Settings" (at top of page) from there, there are only three tabs. One of them will have a box that you can click, which says always take people to the feed. UN-check that, and send to featured instead.

I do not believe you can delete a thread, but you may edit them. I hope you get many more views. =)
 
hey man this is kinda happened to me, i work social media angle etc, videos are organized into playlist all are HD etc, tags are good enough and that. ive been on for a month and i have 15 subs and only 1.5k views. I think we just have to carry on doing it for fun and eventually we'll get noticed!

I started to sub just to help you out, and did, but let me tell you what the problem is for me. You don't seem to care about the viewer. You're just throwing stuff up to see what sticks. And not one of the videos has YOU in it, talking about something. MAKE A VLOG. TAKE A RISK, and use YouTube for what it was really intended for: video-blogging.

I've been on YouTube since 2006, and the best videos are not shows with actors or unfortunate accidents, but when a person gets to a camcorder and just plain lets it RIP! SAY SOMETHING ABOUT SOMETHING. Then people will love you or love to hate you - in either case, you will have a fan base. Trust me.

What are you talking about, im in all of my videos,i just dont talk much in them because i naturally dont talk. and im not doing this for views, but that doesnt mean i dont want them, this thread was a suggestion by a friend to see if it would get people to look at my channel,and it worked. and about my channel, at first i was just doing stuff with my friends, and then i tested what solo lps were like and didnt like them so i went back to stuff with my friends, im not "throwing stuff up to see what sticks" like you said, i am having fun with stuff and putting it up on youtube, wether or not people watch is unimportant, but that doesnt mean i dont want people to see them, my channel is for me and whatever random person feels like watching a dude play random crap with his friends.[DOUBLEPOST=1355343328,1355343046][/DOUBLEPOST]and another thing, i mentioned this in the first post on this thread, I DO NOT WANT PITY SUBS!! for gods sake, if you dont want to watch my videos, but feel like i need a boost or something, message me, dont subscribe, i want REAL subscribers, people who actually want to watch my stuff, that may never happen but i dont care, at least i wont have any Boo-Hoo'ers feeling sorry for me and subbing out of pity for my situation, got it?
