Thoughts on youtube

Lately a lot of kids come on youtube and watch a lot of vlogs because their life sucks at that moment and they want a better life. If you want your life to be better, you should make it better. You make your own life the way you want it to be. So don't be afraid. Just make a change. Changes are good.
What do you think? Am I true?

I think you're simplifying things a little bit hehe, but it's a good philosophy. You can't just 'make it better' by deciding you're not going to have problems any more, sadly that's not how the world works.

You're right about that, but you can identify the problems in your life and try to find ways of getting rid of them. Often it can take years to do, but definitely not impossible.

For example, one of my biggest problems in my life had been my family. I jumped at the first opportunity I got to move 1,000 miles away from them and that really helped me get past a lot of the issues I had. I know opportunities don't always come along, so also looking for ways to make your own opportunities is also an option.

The thing is, in my oppinion, a 12 year old can't have HUGE problems. They just think that life is hard, and they want it to become better by doing nothing.[DOUBLEPOST=1377976409,1377976380][/DOUBLEPOST]

To be fair that's not entirely true. A 12 year old could have divorcing parents, a terminal illness, problems at school, learning difficulties, their family could be threatened with homelessness... don't assume that any person in life is unable to have serious problems, it can happen to anyone!

True many people (this doesn't just apply to kids!) are just lazy and want a quick fix. The ways of the net has lied to them and made them believe that it's easy because for one or two people it was.

I don't really know. I think your right about the fact that its your life. And you should live it. But I really don't know, I just make gaming videos, sooo

I disagree with that. I had huge problems when I was 12 - being bullied at school (physically beat up, almost daily) & emotional abuse at home. My family was poor and we had to go every week and stand in line at the local mission to get free food because we didn't have enough money to eat most days. I helped as much as I could by babysitting to help bring in a little extra money. So yeah, some 12-year-olds can have big problems.

That's true. I was talking about the normal kids, who are fine, but think that they are not. Ok, a few or a lot of them can have major problems, but that doesn't apply to everyone.[DOUBLEPOST=1377977318,1377977177][/DOUBLEPOST]

You are right. But usually people who are poor don't have a computer and watch videos all day long. I was strictly referring to the normal people. Sure, a few of them might have big problems, but the rest don't have an excuse.

Most kids who face those problems I stated are normal kids.

I think you should stop caring what people do on youtube. No one forces you to watch it.

The problems migth seem minor to you but they might be a big deal for that person.
