I'd like to know how much has changed because I've only been watching it for about 2 years.
Personally, I don't understand why all these countless and mindless tags/challenges have become so popular, but I guess it's more about the people involved rather than the content.

I get you haha, it's such a great website and everything, but then there's days where you just want to punch it in the face

It's a lot more commercialised, where as years ago it felt more indie. That's not a bad thing, but it just means there's a lot more people trying to just get youtube famous as opposed to just uploading stuff because it's fun. Luckily thought there doesn't seem to so many tags going around so far this year, last year it seemed like there was a new one every couple of weeks haha.
