Thoughts on username vs. full name?

Superhero, geek, maker of the loud noises.
I was just wondering people's thoughts on using your full name on your youtube account rather than a username. I see an increasing number of people doing it now, and youtube keeps trying me to switch over from my username to my name.

Which do you use and why?
 
I keep my username. I don't do a vlog channel, or I might consider switching, but even then I'd rather have a "brand name" than my full name I believe. I think the full names are mostly for people who already use their full name as their identifier in their videos, and not their username, or for people who don't post videos at all, and just like browsing YouTube. Most content creators prefer their brand name though.

Edit: Oh god.. my grammar. I think it might be bedtime.

Yeah, I really just want to keep my username because it's just easier and the thought of using my full name seems a bit personal. And the whole brand thing too I guess.

Keep your username!!!
 
Not a fan of using your full name on YouTube.
It makes it feel like an extension of Facebook. I want my username to become my brand, my channel is something I'm providing for the entertainment of others, not for personal pleasure. Just my thoughts.
 
They keep sending me messages about it. I just click ask me later or whatever it was. Username over full name is way better. I can't imagine putting up my full name.
 
for my personal Channel Vicbosstv i just stick with the username....everyone Identify me as Vicboss anyway..if i changed it to my full name some people might get confused! I'd stick with your user name :)
