Thoughts on the "new" youtube layout?

They r tryin to make second fb from yt in my opinion... 'old' layout was not really that old.. and i liked it tbh, don't get it why would they change something that was good to something that looks messy.

They put all friends and ppl you subscribed together.. so to actually check your friends you need to travel through all those settings to get to address book to see them or send a message... total fail.
 
I think I like the new layout. It creates the illusion that our videos will be more readily available. I am not sure how accurate that is, but so far the system seems a bit easier to use.
I would like it if youtube added an easier option to get rid of people that are subbed to my channel who I know do not watch. Also, I think if youtube categorized channels better and geographically, it might be easier to find us (all of us) in the haystack. Other than that, the new layout isn't too shabby. Oh, and allow us shows, not just channels.
 
i wouldnt say its bad but i wouldnt say its improved and they need to start listening to the damn people who keep their company in business.
 
The layout in general is buggy, cluttered, unorganized, and not a very well thought idea. I think my biggest problem with it is that the subscription feed is not first on the homepage, so I have been losing viewership along with not being able to see my own subscriptions. All in all, I don't like it.
 
i despise it, everything was fine the way it was previously, i knew where to find things. however now everything has shifted around and become a little more tedious to manage. i seriously don't like the way they've redone the way you see your subscriptions and recommended videos. *grumble*
 
The way I see it, there are a good bit of improvements, but for every improvement comes about three things that make the experience horrible. I personally just sat there and laughed my head off as I navigated to the home screen after watching a video. I don't care that much about it though, I just changed it back to the original and moved on with my life.
