The video needs to drop the black bars on the sides. That's one of the biggest problems you have right now. The mics for both talkers are great and close to even in volume. Content like this needs an interesting idea, mainly because Minecraft is done so much that it becomes flooded with content. Try to do unique things and you can pull viewers in.

Update: The whole thing with your volume problem shouldn't be on the video. That's a technical problem that should be cut away so people don't have to deal with the issue. Cutting issues out like this will keep viewers longer.
