Thoughts on Freedom?

Freedom is an OK network with a massive forum following, with that said though a VERY large portion of the people on their don't care about you and just want to use you for exposure...

As a network I guess they are ok if you are ok with the 60/40 split.

The support is horribly managed... I personally asked to help out on the support side because the channel and dashboard support I received was abismul to the point of the rep saying they can't fix my issue... yet I know they can because it was a dashboard problem and after 4 months it still isn't fixed.... if you can put up with that then by all means go ahead.

I am with Freedom for 2 YT accounts and I regret it. The only reason why I did was due to the no lock in contract so if I find a network that provides a larger cut and a no lock in contract then I would move in a heartbeat.

Agreed. I tried being active on the forums they have and the videos they make, but probably about 95% of the people on both are only there to advertise. Seriously though, I was on their forums, and every thread has at least one person asking to do view4view.

I mainly stay with them because they offer me a ton of music options that I can use with editing.

True, for me I never really tried the music they had on there... it seemed all poo to me but meh we all have our own tastes.

Hi there, I have been partnered with a network hosted by freedom for a while and the only real perk to being part of their network is the sponsorships that you get which includes royalty free music. Sure you don't get much money through their scheme but if you just want some tools to help you on your way I would seriously recommend joining them. Besides if you want to leave their no lock in contract means you can leave them at any time providing you give them some notice.

They got a sponsorship recently from a professional music website. It's got like cinema quality music there, some of it has even been used in things such as Far Cry 3 and stuff.
Ahhh ok cool, I should check it out then

If you have a tiny channel, joining Freedom really won't make a significant impact on your revenue. 60% of nothing is still nothing.

With their sponsorships, community, and music library, you have everything to gain by joining Freedom, and very little to lose. With a no lock-in (30 day) contract, just leave once your channel has outgrown them and go for AdSense or an MCN which offers more.

Regarding lack of support, that's the main reason for joining a Freedom sub network. A few I suggest looking into are ********, Paragon, and Flix.

True, Freedom as a network is quite annoying. However if you do go with a sub network you would find that dashboard support is still through Freedom therefore you cant win haha.
