I don't like it honestly, because the kid has literally done nothing. he's made 6 vines and trended on twitter for one day and gets invited to things like this?!? It's showing a lot of young kids that all you have to do is be attractive and you can instantly be famous.
 
Why is he going to Playlist? How is he still even relevant. His twitter followers have just been going down since the week he became famous. Weird. I guess just let for his fame to wear down. It hasn't been long enough.

This is what's the most frustrating thing about YouTube. There is just no way to predict what will make someone burst onto the scene. Like, that kid just pops up huge because of a random picture and in a few days he'll be no one again. Meanwhile you've got a whole forum here of people working their asses off, with the capability and drive to actually build something substantial if THEY got that sudden exposure on the big level, but they don't.

When you're sitting around, working on your videos and whatnot, there's a part of you that really does believe that as long as you put the work in and make something good, you'll get noticed and you'll get big. Then some random kid working a register at Target explodes for no discernible reason. It's infuriating.
 
Wait a sec, is that the thing where someone took a pic and posted it on like Tumblr and everyone went nuts about it and rumours went around the guy lost his job or something? I just Googled it and he was on the Ellen show wtf lol Well I guess his situation is no different from a model's really.

Well I say we give it time, I have no idea who this guy is, he may turn out to be a fairly charitable person who uses their fame to influence good... that's if they don't become a nobody in the next few months or so.
