OK i was trying to figure out how to delink them and i found this page:
I only made my Youtube account a month ago. So, is it not possible for me to have a "username" then? it makes me sad because then the link at the bottom of this post will never work... Move a YouTube channel to a different Google Account (Change Google Account
This is only possible for legacy YouTube accountsthat have been added to a Google Account. Unfortunately, YouTube channels created after May 2009 cannot be removed from a Google Account.

My friend was struggling with the exact same thing and I had to relink my account to show him how to unlink it ha ha. I am somehow really good at finding stuff if I am in the situation.
