Thinking About Switching Up My Formula

So I do Gaming Commentaries and I am thinking 2 things

To start off right now I do 2 Let's Plays and one Let's Play with a friend. I also sometimes do DEMOlitions (me playing Demos of games) and that is about it. What I want to do is change my format for videos and maybe making a new channel

If I changed my channel here is what it would probably consist of over a 7 day period

Sunday: Nothing
Monday: Some recording with others
Tuesday: A Complete Series
Wednesday: 30 minute lets play over a game (Nerd Cubed Style), Me and my friend playing horror games, Retro Game
Thursday: A Complete Series
Friday: F2P Friday (With a friend or 2)
Saturday: Nothing

I also have thought about making a new channel if I do decide to do all of this I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what I need to work on on my channel for the new one. However, i am also not sure if making another channel would be a good idea either

This is just a thought and nothing is really set in stone and I'm not sure if this will take way to much time or not but let me know what you think

Setting a new schedule and working like that seems like its nothing but good in my mind
As long as you stick with similar content for your original subscribers you should be fine

Making a new content I think would just cause issues, you'd more or less have to start from the beginning
Re-branding and getting people to know the name of your channel


I'm new to youtube so I'm not the perfect person to answer, but thats my understanding and I hope I helped

If this theoretical second channel is also a gaming channel, I wouldn't recommend it. Playlists might serve you better.

It's your channel, do what you want with it. Scheduling seems to work for some people and not for others. I do not like scheduling stuff because it makes things obligatory, ha.

I don't think it's a good idea to start a separate channel when you are still a small channel. You should just make the videos on the same channel.

I think having a schedule is good if you think that'll help you get organised, but it could have a negative effect if it puts too much pressure on you and quality could take a hit if you're not on top of it.

I'm not sure what you mean by "what you need to work on for the new one" ?! Anyway, I don't think it warrants a new channel. Is it because you'll be doing more videos on your own? It's still gaming, so I'd keep it all under the same roof
