Thinking about making a new channel

Danomitism

I've Got It
So i've been using my Danomitism channel since august and I kinda want to make a new channel and change my name because i havent been really fond of it. I have 2285 subscribers on danomitism right now but i want your advice, should i go ahead and make a replacement channel?

noo don't do it! just keep that name. i made that mistake a few times too. it sucks starting over and its a lot harde to get people to sub with a lower sub count. just ignore your name and roll with it. sxephil is a pretty stupid name and i guarentee he wouldn't be as big as he is now if he restarted around the 2000 mark.

I say no. Unless you feel like all the lively subscribers will be able to follow you on your new channel, then no.

Agent00 is right, this is my second channel after my gaming channel BYSxCREW and it's hard trying to tell people you've switched over and get them to subscribe to the new channel. Trust us, it's much better to stick with it and keep your audience.

You'll regret it if you start over. Subscribers can be very lazy; 90% of them wouldn't follow you to a new channel.

My advice is no, because you have been working on that channel for a year, so why throw away that work?

However if you really can't stand that name then I recommend when you move over you let as many subscribers as possible aware that you have moved. That way you can still keep some support. Not everyone will follow, but the very active will!

I'd say don't. Just stick with what you've got. It's not worth restarting just to change a name.
Just look at my name, I'd love to change it from NurdSquared to ThatNurdYT. Maybe when YouTube implement something like that.

Ahh so hard to decide!! Everyones telling me not to but i feel like its gonna be better in the long run!! :(

well there prob. won't be a long run if you end up switching channels and you can't get back to your old sub count and feel de-motivated and want to give up. don't throw away a fanbase for a name. you'll regret that more than the name you wish you never chose when you started.
