Things You Like Most in a Commentator?

Hey everybody, it's your boy TThizzle88 here. As Youtuber we all strive to grow and continuously improve on what seems to not be improvable. For you all commentators out there there are aspects and skills of commentating that you all try to acquire or incorporate into your own commentaries. Also the viewers themselves oftentimes notices these aspects in other Youtubers. As a Youtuber, these are some things I try or have already improved on in my commentaries:

• branding my commentaries with some catch phrases
• staying enthusiastic from beginning to end
• teasing moments
• be comedic to some extent
• using expression in my voice to avoid being monotone
• promote video
• if informative video, bringing eye catching or quality information

Do you all agree that these things make a great commentator or one in development? What do you all do different? What additional aspects and skills would you add to the commentating list?

All look great, I especially like the catch phrase thing because it keeps your dedicated followers grouped into this community that would the get 'inside lingo'.

I've been looking to do the same, plus birthday shoutouts when I get bigger and go daily. SMOSH's fans seem to love that part of their show
