Things you HATE that other channels do?

I keep seeing this one guy spam on all of SeaNanners videos. He's like a music channel, and every time I ask him to stop, some idiot goes like "He's offering free music for people to use, what's so wrong with that?" I'm fairly sure they're just his alts, since I've never known anyone to defend people like that, but it pisses me off so much... Like, because they do a different kind of thing, that makes it alright to spam? What about all of the gamers who want exposure and offer free entertainment? It's b******t. Basically, I hate spam.

I hate misleading titles... I get they are supposed to be as intriguing as possible but sometimes they’re just a down right lie. I especially hate it when it’s like a +5 minute video and only the last 30 seconds or so relate to the title. I sometime wish I could take back the view I just gave them.

+1 to this

There is a huge difference between the word fan and the word supporter. I honestly can't stand people who refer to people that spend their time supporting them as a fan. It's just an arrogant way to view things and the person calling people their fans as if they are something amazing deserve no respect.

To add to this channels with like 50 subs and they have their Po Box in every description asking for people to send fan mail. Are they serious ?

People that watch me are supporters because they support what I'm doing, in the same way as I support people who show me support.
I agree with this too. I think when the time comes people will start asking you if you have a P.O. Box to send you things. Also...when you're small, you have a closer relationship to your subscribers/supporters that you can't really have when you have hundreds of thousands or even millions of them. People jump the gun.

That makes me mad too about the comments part. I always reply to comments that address me, and even when I get big, I will always check comments when I can (unless I get like 3 billion comments [not going to happen lol]).
I just use twitter to update my subs/followers on new stuff or just talk about stuff. :p

I'm fine with most things, but I do get bugged out by disabled features and channels that 'can't turn off the funny'. I like seeing funny stuff, but if you're going to do a draw your life give us the legit stuff.

And the worst one, I am not sure you can even do it anymore, is when you would cover the whole video screen with an annotation, which links to a subscribe page. So when ever you clock to pause the video, it will redirect the page.
you can still do it I think via the spotlight annotation, Smosh used to do this on a lot of their videos. I remember because I checked them out like a good 6months back I think, it was 1 of their recent videos or 1 of their popular videos. Never touched their channel again & probably never will.
Being TOO stylish and fancy. In some ways it is good to look professional. But on the other hand, I like channels that don't try to pretend they are superstars - but conduct themselves like believable, real people.
I do this (at least I think I do) not because I think I'm a superstar but because I have this odd obsession with making things more complicated than they need to be. It annoys the hell out of me. Everytime I have something in my head I can never put it on paper properly :S then 1 idea flows to another and I'm stuck working an entire week on an intro & outro when I could have just created a still picture with music in the bacgkround... -.- I'm contemplating changing my intro & outro to something more simple, but I'm stuck there.
Too much focus on OTHER social media. People seem to forget that Youtube is a social medium. We can comment on the video, we can send PM's, etc. If you say I need to post on your Twitter or Facebook account my comment, you are not going to hear from me. If you are not addressing comments ON Youtube because you "don't have the time" then how could you possibly have the time to deal with Twitter and Facebook messages?
It's actually much easier to connect with fans via Twitter and Facebook as both of them can be used on the move more than YouTube. The YouTube app is still far from being great, it doesn't even have the feed counter to tell me how many new videos there are, let alone proper notifications. It's not always about time, it's about convenience, you can hop on Twitter on your phone wherever and whenever, if you're on your way to work, in the middle of working on projects or at dinner or something. But obviously it's not okay to disregard YouTube completely.
When people call their viewers fans .
Mainly when the channel is small .
I unsubbed a lot of people just because of this .
I always try to avoid calling my viewers fans since I feel that calling them fans puts them on a lower level, I don't want people to think I'm higher up than them. Mainly incase my idenity gets revealed I don't want them to get the wrong impression that I want people to come up to me on the streets and that I'll be all nice about it lol but I also want them to remember that I'm just a gamer/critic/rager and that it's like having imaginary friends sitting beside you & watching you play. The only time I think it's okay is when you do have a major following and it's pretty obvious when some people are just fans and some are actually watching you for you, if that makes sense? Like for e.g. Markiplier or Wade, I don't watch EVERY video they make, just the 1s I like, I'm not going to pretend to like a game or something just cause a bigger YouTuber is playing it.

I know which guy you're talking about, to be fair, he's at least trying to give to the community, yes he's advertising for himself too but it's also a service he's providing to others for free for content creators to use to boost THEIR success too. I will admit though, he's going a bit overboard with the amount of times he has been posting the message.

That is the thing.
And I know it is not the worst thing out there, but I feel it is an incredibly disrespectful thing to do, since you waste my time, and I will no subscribe to you just out of principle.

That spotlight cheap trick honestly makes me mad. And chances are people who do it will get unsubbed, badly.
