I Love YTtalk
Most of us are sharing opinions, and it's not like you need to have a channel on a specific category to talk about a channel category. My friends also have a gaming channels themselves, though not a very successful one (must be tens of thousands of these types of channels by now). Besides, most of us watch a variety of YT channels. I don't really want to mention JonTron, but his channel is entirely gaming, and he is one of the most recognized people when it comes to videos about video games, and his output is stagnant. Guy goes months without putting out a video, but yes of course he's not doing full playthroughs or anything. Still even if you are doing playthroughs nothing mandates literally having 7 videos a week, and if you're not getting skyhigh viewership it's often a good idea to do a compilation video of the best moments in a playthrough until you build an audience willing to watch an entire playthrough.Haha keep talking. You obviously don't do gaming video's so you don't know.
You have month-old videos (your AC paythrough for example) which have only ~15 views per video, yet you have over 2700 subscribers. I'm not trying to insult you or anything (my channel is teeny tiny compared to yours with less than 50 subs) but I'm just saying I don't think uploading 5 - 15 minutes every day and getting only 15 views on that video after a month is "almost necessary".
It's one tactic. It may be effective or it may not be. It's just not "almost necessary".
