Is anyone else with them? I signed the contract the other day. Were they a good lot to go with?
They don't cost anything to join?[DOUBLEPOST=1382534004,1382533952][/DOUBLEPOST]Should have asked this before signing...
imo, not at all, they have really bad reviews and seem to take your money in return for doing nothing at all..
A network run by Simon Cowell.who are they?? I've never heard of them before haha
Hahaha! That's what I thought! I did all the spam checks before I signed anything but it looked ligit! Hoefully my face will be flying round a bit more!Heard of them, and I don't think Simon Cowell would associate himself with something that doesn't have the potential to make money. Therefore if he is going to make money you should make money.
After reading the contract I know that the rights to my channel belong to me. I do know that I am locked into my contract for a minimum of two years however there are no restrictions on what I post or when I post it. I'm not in the YouTube business for the money therefore the 50/50 split of revenue didn't overly bother me. There are a lot of good features that come with the contract so I don't really mind. I was just checking that no one had been spammed since I only found out about this site today.50/50 split is absolutely terrible. You're also locked into your contract. Knowing Simon Cowell you probably signed over all the rights to him too.
You could have got the same features with another network but with 70-90% of the money instead of 50%, you rushed into a contract and if your channel ever becomes big you'll pay the price for that..After reading the contract I know that the rights to my channel belong to me. Like I said before. I'm not in Youtube for the money... It's just an added bonus. Either way, my channel wont get big within the space of two years and by that point I am able to drop out. If I do feel like I'm being ripped off by that point I will decide to leave. However, at the moment I am more about growing my audience.Run by simon cowell? no, It's run by Freemantle Media.
