It has to fit the mood of the video. For instance, the one where my Dalmatian running around the house after the shower deserves rock music. The one with the camera attached to my dog playing fetch also went well with rock music. The one where she is jumping up in the air in slow motion with her tongue flopping around went better with some little kids quirky song. I normally pick multiple songs with similar feels and play them along with the video to see what goes better. Sometimes you may find a good song and edit the video to go in synch with the song. That's a bit hard to do sometimes though.... I best pulled it off in my slow motion belly flop video, I timed the last jump to go perfectly with the silence in the music.I was wondering, How do you pick your background music, spend time looking for something that syncs up to your video? or do you just take anything? also any tips on picking the right music.

Haha, Indeed.. Last thing you want is a Copyright strike.Well obviously you have to get non copyrighted music and yeah I feel like you do need to spend some time searching for something you think fits the video!
