I personally think you have the wrong mindset. You shouldn't do YouTube just because you want to become popular (assuming that's what you meant). You should do it becuase you enjoy doing it. My main channel 'youtube.com/thepurevesta' was something I did in my spare time and was something I was passionate about which was music. I never had any frustrating moments with it as I enjoyed doing it. I'm now at 2.8k subs with over 600k views. I mean this was because I had the mindset of sharing great music and entertaining others as well as promoting producers. I would never have gotten to that amount of subs and views (not sayings it's a lot but...yeah) if I'd of had the mindset of becoming successful as it would de-motivate me and cause me to not want to put in as much effort as I have done. Don't take this post the wrong way, I am merely just trying to help you
