The Next Step Facebook Or Twitter

Hello All Again

So i am going to start to make an effort on Facebook Or Twitter or Both if you think thats best.

What is the best way to start getting people to interact on one of these platforms ? Or am i just too new to be thinking about this yet?

Looking at my analytics and stuff i seem to have had a little more action on twitter mostly re tweets than facebook. I know if i want people to use these i will have to treat it like a personal page and not just post videos.

My comments on YT are pretty good normally most videos get comments.

Apart from saying check out our FB or Twitter page and linking in the description what other skills can or should i use?

Hashtags are important, as these help non-followers find your stuff.

The only downside to social media is without enough followers, there won't be enough people to reblog your stuff. What you need to rely on, rather, is people independently sharing your stuff to Twitter on their own. That's how videos spread (unless you have a crap load of followers of course).

Social Media has worked for me (mainly Tumblr) because other people have been kind enough to post my videos there. I myself haven't really publicised at all.

Use a lot of #s, because you can get a lot of followers from this. Also, give your subscribers some kind of reward for going to your Twitter. I don't know how you would reward them, but people are more likely to do something if they have a small materialistic gain from it.
 
It Does as time has gone on people who have watched have recently started to share on YT ,Twitter and even Facebook.

You think its best to just keep going as i am adding it to the description say in the video and just making the Posts on Facebook and Twitter a little more Personal ?

I only been on twitter a short time[DOUBLEPOST=1376042272,1376042131][/DOUBLEPOST]I am going to look at Tumblr i have never used it before. What could you compare it to ? is it like a Facebook

Post the link (use a URL shortener) and then for e.g. #VideoGames etc
 
Do hashags work for facebook as well?

since there is this new feature with hashtags, but i never used it because im not sure if its working..
