It'll die when it stops making money, so not anytime soon. It's pretty much the only widely used video site. It YouTube gets some sort of competition, it might die sooner.
 
I don't see in falling for quite a while. Youtube is different than most video sharing sites as its a job to many, and how big they are, and how versatile. Other sites are pretty much just uploads of tv shows and stuff.

I believe Snapchat, Facebook & Instagram will fall before then.
 
Probably around 10 years, just because we don't know what the future will be like and what kind of technology will be available then and YouTube could turn into a completely different type of video platform by 2024 (eek!)
 
I said 6-8 years. If it goes longer than that, it'll have somehow reached a new plane of internet success.
