I've already bought XSplit, got 75% off the 54 month registration, and I don't need any more than maybe 6 scenes tbh It also has no bandwidth restriction

Ah, shame you didn't know bout this sooner, save a buttload x) (though the free version does have a 250kbs restriction iirc)

I have a solution Use bandicam I tried it today and the file size is like 8 times smaller after recording AND the fps stays stable when recording ITS VERY SWEET Try it out Im also using fraps bcoz of the userfriendly interface plus its a good recording software xD But i also recommend ya bandicam

I have bandicam, use it for browser games, but I don't really care about the file sizes, my editor compresses it anyway

I use Bandicam also, although I use it for all my recording purposes as it is so easy to use. I also found at the end of it that the sizes were generally smaller than those of Fraps and that the frame-rate was always stable throughout my records.

Plus, I also find it easier to edit the settings/ratios through the bandicam interface rather than fraps.

But yes, It is truly horrible when your record crashes half way through, I feel for you
