I've been on today and looked at my most recent videos and seen we've had 6 people dislike my videos and it's happened to 3 of our most recent ones as well i don't know if they're genuine or just some little kids with chips off their shoulders :L

Have i done something drastically wrong ?

any advice ?
 
I think it's to do with that fact that you were giving away games from a pack that could've been bought for $1. The whole point of giving away games is to either give away the whole pack, or something that is otherwise much more difficult to get or of higher value. What you gave away in that vid was just leftover scraps from a pack you bought for next to nothing.

When I do giveaways it's either a whole pack, a game that's hard to get (think beta access) or any game off Steam with no price limit.

Not saying you should do this ofc, but people will turn their nose up at scraps, especially now that the internet is flooded with leftover codes from the Humble Bundle.

yeah I get what you mean but these dislikes came in over night and on different videos, at about the same time :L
 
Don't let the dislikes bother you... There really is no point to analyze them, it can be anything from a genuine dislike to a troll. Unless it's a dislike bomb; I agree, would be problematic and annoying.
 
I understand your pain, but I really think there should be a rule on the forum to not allow posts about dislikers. regardless or botting or not.
 
I know it's hard, but just try to ignore them. They probably don't know it, but their activity on your videos actually help you since the search algorithms weigh dislikes equally or nearly equally to likes.

That is nothing to do with these dislikes, someone is targeting their channel and getting their twitter followers to dislike everything.
