Talk about Suscribers / Public Retention

Yeah man, that is the way things should work, Im sick of the guys who keeps asking for sub4sub and just for the sake of publicity. I guess there is room for us all to grow but we gotta earn that "growness" ( i invented the word), i think most of that type of people expect to grow by the work of others and sometimes thinking that way makes others think you are a douchebag or that you are too cocky or that you think you are awesome too much (which i dont).

I think subs should stop asking for the Publicity thing unless they are really up to the "working together" stuff which is something i dont see this days. I helped lots of people in the last days, but still received very little "payback" from that. Anyways i help for the sake of helping and not because i want something back. People are just lazy and want other's help but without having to do anything for it. That just fu****ing sux. Sorry about that but i had to say it!
 
Growness: I expect a working definition teased out and submitted to Webster's by the end of today, or I am taking it to the bank =P Love it, and love the honesty.

yeah I really only help people who have actually become friends with me through youtube and talked to me because they actually wanted to not just a decoy to get something in return and i appreciate those people the most.And i may not give them something in return right away,but I will in the future in ways they could never imagine.

sub4sub is a very powerful tool. If the person who subs you has a lot of subs and a public feed then the fact he subs you goes into the feed and all his subs have the chance of seeing your channel.

I don't actually think it worked for me, i've done sub4sub with other youtubers in the past, with other channels and it didn't help at all. What i think it works is Box4Box, and recommend that channels by your videos directly talking about them and telling your audience to watch their videos. It takes little time and its a great way to show partnership with other youtubers. I still haven't found someone that wants to work with me that way.

My real question about this is. How many of you who click on the "Subscribe" button are actually "Real Subscribers" ? Also, how many of you just Subscribe expecting something from the channel owner you subscribed to? and also, what made you subscribe to a channel when you barely watched a min of a 20 minute video?

I'm sorry its just pretty annoying how things turn out to be and its something i wanted to bring to a discussion with everyone here. Would like some sincere and serious answers.

ppl's attention rate is around 3mins, but its decreasing nowadays haha. we would have to really grab them in the first few seconds!

The real question is. What do people like for us to be able to get their full attention in our videos? (Just a hard question to answer cause there are many possibilities)

flashy graphics, awesome sound effects are always a good start i guess. im always attracted to the lights and action!
