Switching Video Editing Software!

So I've been going to work at a small TV station for the past two weeks during the weekdays and I have been editing there using Final Cut Pro.

then when I went home and edited my own video on Sony Vegas, I finally realised how annoying Vegas's UI and basically EVERYTHING was.

I mean, I had to press 4 buttons to editing a piece of text media.

I got so frustrated, and it also decided to quit on me multiple times (maybe not the program's fault but still)

I forgot who said this on the forums but they were right, I really can't stand using Vegas anymore, it is just too frustrating.

Anyone else feel shocked after switching video editing software?
 
:eek: Kirby! How could you just betray Vegas like that! Think about how she feels. She didn't deserve this kind of treatment. You've been cheating on her with Final Cut all this time?!? And you didn't say anything?? I am disgusted!
 
I do believe I was the one who said that Vegas had a poor UI. Glad to see you've changed your ways. Welcome to the dark side. We have cookies!

I hated Vegas, the demo I had sucked. I'm going to be getting Cyberlink Powerdirector 11 Director's Suite soon, I just found out I get a student discount! So far PD 11 and Premiere have been my two best programs, but PD 11 will be much cheaper for me.

I'm thinking about trying out Premiere. I haven't used it much before and it seems like it's MUCH better than Vegas can be.[DOUBLEPOST=1373852314,1373852254][/DOUBLEPOST]

;) I know that feeling brother. Me and MovieMaker were together for my entire life before I suddenly saw the attractive Vegas.

In my opinion, Premiere and Powerdirector 11 are both the best... I've tried Vegas, PD 11, Premiere, and some other program that sucked. If you are a student, you can get 70% discount on PD 11! Try the demo of Director's Suite, I like it.
 
Whatever more vegas for me. I work pretty fast in vegas. I've been using it for nearly 4 years now. so everything is kinda 2nd nature. But I must admit that it does have it's flaws
 
I haven't tried any of these programs :O ! Ha ha maybe I should skip trying Vegas and head straight on over to final cut ? ;P
