Swearing on youtube

Some people, (I myself have probably done this) add beeps/censors to swearing to add comedic affect, sometime it would sound much funnier if it was censored and not censored.

If it was me swearing naturally I probably would bleep it, it would depend if it was suitable for my target audience to hear. If part of a script or how a characters acts I wouldnt. I havent swore in a video before where im not acting.

She been going for howlong? Since 2006? (I don't actually know) Her videos seem to get boring if you watch more than 1 in a row...
She got popular in early 2011 and uploads once a week. I never thought she was funny or entertaining, I don't think that about any of the top people. It's odd how someone huge comes along every few months, only to replace the others.

Part of it would be making the content more children-friendly, but at the same time, bleeping out swear words can add to the comedic value of the video. It adds a weird sound that sticks out and your brain joins the dots. I don't know, it can be funnier then leaving the swear words in at times.

It all depends on both your personality and who you are trying to reach. Normally they should work with one another but sometimes the biggest rager, can be aiming for a young audience.

It's just a personal preference. I swear quite a bit IRL (a habit I'm trying to cut back on), but I want my content to be family-friendly since a large majority of my audience includes young kids under 18. I make a point to not swear when I'm shooting, and if I'm vlogging with a guest, I edit or bleep out any swear words.

I want as many people to watch me as possible. Family members, kids, teenagers, adults, grandmas and grandpas of the world. So I try to not curse :) if there's a curse in one of the songs I'm cover I just replace it with something else.

Plenty of people don´t like "dirty" content. And plenty of people don´t like "clean" content. I don´t like clean content. I like people who speak naturally, and cursing is natural. You will always lose some and win some, with or without cursing. No type of content will ever appeal to everybody.

I just swear whenever, but mostly if something pisses me off. I usually don't swear much unless I'm quoting some line where said character did swear.

im not someone who swears every couple of words, I might end up doing it one or twice in a video, it is mainly because it slips out, I don't plant on saying it, it just happens
