Hey peeps,

Sorry this has definitely been posted a thousand times, but I'm an English student with not much disposable income and I'm loving YouTube SO MUCH I want to invest in it.

I already have a lovely, expensive microphone - but now I'm looking for a camera to suit my needs.

Something cheap and cheerful that will stand on a tripod, light to carry our and about and of course fresh faced and 1080p.

My price range is £50-100

I'm sorry but I don't think you can buy a 1080p camera for £50, even £100 seems far from how much you're going to need. I googled "cameras under £100" and I found:
Polaroid IE4038 18MP Bridge Camera - £89.99
GoPro HERO 5.0 MP Action camera - £89.00
Nikon Coolpix L31 Digital Camera - £48.00

I'm not going to do all the research for you so if you're interested, research them and see if you would be happy buying one of them. :)

When I initially read the title of the this thread I wanted to suggest a Canon s120 (£186.00) or a Canon G7X (299.99) but it looks like they are out of your price range.
If you're not happy with the 3 cameras I found I can only suggest saving up for the Canon s120, it's probably the best camera for the price and it used to be very popular amongst vlogers before the G7X came out. You can always look for an used one to cut the price a bit.

I don't know your lifestyle, but one less meal out with your friends or walking somewhere instead of taking a bus can slowly but surly save up some money. It will take some time but if you really want to upgrade that's my suggestion, maybe someone else can think of something that works better for you.

Thank you Adam, that's exactly the response I wanted.

I will look into the three you kindly found for me, maybe they will do for now, but if not it might make sense to put some funds aside and get the more expensive bad boy.
