Suggestions on how to format visually interviews?

So I have some upcoming projects, where I will be interview folks potentially face to face, or through a skype like function. I record my videos mostly with my Samsung s7 , and sometimes at home on my webcam.

What suggestions do you have for interview like segments , be it equipment or visual perspectives.

You can always record your half the interview on your S7 to get a more pleasing or the second angle for you. while screen recording (With their consent) the call with your subject. and Possably some relevant b-role

If you record interviews through skype, I would suggest you use a program like OBS, its always proven helpful for me when im dealing with recording skype calls in good quality

I have interviewed several people on my channel i can't speak much for visuals since it's usually random things but as far as audio goes there is two systems you can do - record your audio and have them record theirs that way no quality is lost.

Or you record both your audio and split it later.
