Sudden dip in views.

Safety Turtle

Turtle Power!
I may just be unreasonably worried here, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Usually my videos get 20+ views but for some reason, my last three have gotten 9, 6 and now two (latest one is only an hour or so old though) and I'm wondering why that is, cause compared to what I've gotten before, it seems pretty low.

I haven't changed anything, doing the same things I've been doing so far and have even gotten more subs lately...is this just "the way of youtube"? can I expect it to just mend itself so to speak, or do I have to do something?

Like I said, I may just be unreasonably worried here, but I wanna do the best job I can and it seems very sudden and like a big difference.

There's tons of variables that it'll be hard to pin point the reason as to why it is. Look at your analytic's for traffic sources and see if people aren't coming from somewhere they once were. Review your old videos and see if you were doing something slightly different. Check how you're promoting and so on. Research your audience, there's tons you can do, just don't give up :)

I'm not giving up, at all ^^
I've promised myself to give it at least half a year and I've already experience quite a bit of progress...was just wondering what this sudden setback could be caused by.

I know I haven't changed anything, I do the same things I've done so far...may have to check out the analytics though as you mentioned.

i believe it happens to everyone on youtube considering its over saturated with youtubers. Just keep doing what you love and keep grinding out and eventually everything will rise. :)

I know it's hard, but don't look at those numbers too closely. They only serve on purpose and that is to put you down. Even when I look at my top video (~48K views) it's still nothing compared to the YouTuber that gets those view numbers in a matter of hours. Heck, my total channel views (~366K views) is something popular YouTubers do in a matter of hours.

You have a passion, it is too create. If you don't have that passion and look at the numbers every day you are not long for this hobby.

Perfectly explained.

I like your channel trailer direct and to the point. I haven't noticed a dip in views but my videos often take a while to get off of the ground so I wouldn't know.
