Yup, I'm one of those guys that hate it.
I think it's alright if you have a really large following, but even then it's still stupid.

Nigahiga does well just by saying "hey guys", so why should others call their fan base a specific name?
It's not like you OWN them... Besides, people other than your subscribers watch your videos too.

Pretty much sums up exactly what my opinions are on this matter.

Meh. I don't see the need for it. Unless you have loads of dedicated hard-core fans who WANT to be named, why name them?

I don't see the point really, but to be honest, groups always form out of big fan followings anyway, and they self appoint a name for themselves so, if they want to call themselves something, its kinda out of your hands anyway haha
