Subscriber "branding"

Hey there I was looking around YTtalk and I saw some people saw how that hate being called something for subscribing to someone, how true is this? Would you rather someone brand you for being a subscriber or just something like "hello subscribers"?

Some people like to join a club, some people don't like to be put in a box. I don't care, as long as you don't call me something that includes your name, like a belieber, nobody wants to be a belieber

I cannot disagree with that!! Although I have been thinking about mine, what should it be?

Yeah you don't wanna treat someone like a pet so something like space cadets would be bad lol, IMO anyway, maybe take inspiration from nerfighter's, team gamertag.... People like to join a club, I say buddy personally but that's me making fun of myself for something I said a while ago and it's easier to call people something when you say hi, I kinda like it actually i think it's friendly anyway. Stay clear of spacers lol. But if I had to pick for you knowing nothing but you're a gaming channel I would go with.... Astrobro's

I just call my subscribers "guys", making up a name for them when you have a small channel is pretty pointless and it looks rather stupid.

Hmm... We were thinking of calling our fan base the "Thrash mob." Does anyone like this idea?

Yup, I'm one of those guys that hate it.
I think it's alright if you have a really large following, but even then it's still stupid.

Nigahiga does well just by saying "hey guys", so why should others call their fan base a specific name?
It's not like you OWN them... Besides, people other than your subscribers watch your videos too.
