Those guys don't care about your channel at all. They just spam these messages on every channel they come across.
 
When I see comment like this I immediately delete it and block that person. If I should get shoutout, it should be because someone actually enjoys my content and want to see people to enjoy it as well :) "Forced" shoutouts will give you at best one time boost.
 
A shoutout is earned. A shoutout gotten in any other fashion is practically worthless. Besides, people that subscribe to you from a shoutout from a scam artist like that won't do anything for you. Those that subscribe because they like your content, those are the ones you are after! A shoutout from a real YouTuber in the same niche will result in your channel getting the exposure it needs to make that happen. I gained a few hundred here and there a year ago. Pushed me past 1000 I believe.
 
I get those types of comments often. It's like a shout-out pyramid scheme where you have to sub to the guy and the guys he gives the shout-outs to so that you can get a shout-out and then one day you'll have a load of dead subs that your giving shout-outs to... Fun!
