Subscribe Annotation Not Working?

I tried getting around this by pasting the link itself into the link box, but I had someone try it, and it just brought them to my channel page without subscribing.

Has anyone else experienced this? Mind trying out the SUBSCRIBE button on my channel page or in my end slate (last 10 seconds of my video) and telling me if it works? You can unsubscribe afterwards, I'm just curious.

Haha I havent even used it before, I think I should start using it though. Would you reccomend it?
 
Just paste in your channel link for your sub button, it'll take folks to your page where they can sub and check out more videos if they want.

In my original post, I said I tried that. But when someone clicked on the button itself, it didn't take them to that page.

I'm sorry what I mean is forget the sub link all together, and paste in your channel link to the channel option for the annotation you want to hover over the sub button. This is what I've had to start doing. I think YouTube is doing this on purpose, to bring people to your actual channel in order to subscribe.
 
By the way I just clicked the link you provided in your original post and not only did it take me to your channel but then a pop up came on the screen saying "Confirm your subscription" to your channel. It appears to be working.

Oh, yay! A few friends said that it wasn't. I even tried it on their browsers and it didn't. I'm glad it works now. Thanks for trying it out!
