Subs and views on a small channel

It is possible to get speedy growth, it all depends on luck, your skill, and determination. Admittedly forums didn't get me a lot views/subs, I post here regularly because I like this community. :P
 
I remember on my old channel, and even now on my new one when you upload a video, unless you spread your link around to friends and family etc... (or on forums!!) then it takes a considerable amount of time to get your first few subs and views! Stick at it though and you'll get there eventually! Good things come to those who wait!
 
It's different for everyone, on my first YouTube channel it took me 2.5 years to reach 635 subscribers, only took 1 month to reach 620 on my second channel.
Btw you should really get some channel art
 
Good luck! There is only one way to find out if you'll be one of the greats. And that is to give it your best shot! If you are not just deal with it. YouTube really is an awesome hobby!
 
It's possible, Youtube is very good at making it work! I've been trying for three years and most of the time I was learning how to make good content.
 
Yeah man! Gotta please the audience and be sincere! Find something that you love and something that you're good at then put them together and I'm sure others will enjoy it too. Most 1st vids get below 200 views so don't sweat it and stay dedicated!
 
PERSISTANCE! I believe that's the secret. Kind of like getting a date from a beatiful girl in your class xD
But seriously. Post regularly and interact as much as you can with your audience and the youtube community. Youtube is a community, many people forget that. If you look at the big gaming youtubers, they know each other and some of them are even good friends. For example Syndicate and PewDiePie ( I chose those two because they are both very very famous)
If you are passionate about what you are doing, success will follow :) (I'm hoping :D )

Ok man, where do you suggest I should get a really catchy channel to interest the viewers and make them more attracted to my channel.
