Sub to sub...is it worth doing that way???

Lot of places like on twitter or google+,
I get sub to sub requests. Are they necessary or help grow the channel??
 
No because those people just care about having a high sub number and aren't actually watching any of your content. It is much better to not associate with people doing sub for subs or like for likes and just focus on growing your channel naturally.
 
That is what. Even i realised...does it matter to youtube how many subscribers i have????
I learnt that views watched beyond 30secs of content are only thing that matters...
 
The by far the most important ranking factor on YouTube is (session) watch time. The subscriber number only has a minor (psychological) meaning.
 
I don't think sub for sub is very effective, just take your time and produce quality content
 
Are you talking about sub4sub? I highly recommend not doing this.

What you want are people who will actually come back and watch your videos. Not something to artificially inflate your subscriber number.
 
it gets you awards too, but sub 4 sub will never get you there, i really dont mind for subs right now as a new channel its the views that will help your channel grow, people subscribe when they like the content. thats a real sub
 
I love sub4sub forums and groups. It's where I promote my how to grow your Youtube channel E-book. While everyone is just whining about sub4sub, I'm able to easily educate and promote something in a community that needs it the most :)
