Sub hungry people ?

Earlier today i get a comment on one of my videos saying that is was a cool video and the guy said he subbed. So i commented back and said thanks. So i go to the guys page and he has no videos and about 17 subs I believe so after about an hour the guy messages me saying he unsubbed and deleted his comment because i didnt sub back ... I just wanna know if this had happened to anyone else?
 
Well no one has come out and said they unsubbed cus I didn't sub back buuut I think that has happened a few times to me. I don't sub to a channel unless I know I'm actually going to watch their content more than just once. But I also expect the same of people who sub to me. If they really enjoy my content then cool that would be sweet if you subbed to me. But I don't want people to sub to me if they don't really like what I do and want to watch more. But I also have noticed that on other things like Twitter someone will follow and then if I don't follow back like that day they unfollow haha
 
Honestly, set up your spam filter to block people who use the word sub, or subbed or sub4sub etc. You'll still be notified that they commented and could then approve them or delete the comment. If someone says "Cool video. Love your channel, I subbed" then great. Approvoe it. If someone say, "cool video, I subbed, will you check out mine and sub to?" then just leave it as spam.

Or do nothing. Either way not a big deal. People sub and unsub all the time.
 
As annoying and a time waster as those guys can be, I wouldn't bother giving it another thought. I've had a couple people sub then unsub after a few days when I didn't sub back. Whatever, those aren't the people I want subbing to my channel in the first place then. :/

Exactly i want people to sub to my chsnnel cause j know theyll return and actually watch my video
 
yeah it's happened a couple of times. You've just got to know that they wouldn't of watched more videos anyway.
It's a pity really. But some people are just like that.
 
I don't get many subs, so it's easy for me to tell if someone subs. Plus I'm always online and see it updating all the time. So when someone is like "liked and subbed, would be great if you did as well", or something along those lines, I usually see the like but my subs don't go up. It's like come on, if you're going to BS and try to promote your own channel on my channel, which is a terrible form of advertising, at least do it on a channel that either doesn't communicate with the viewers or really big, because otherwise they probably know at what their sub count was at before you commented. I really don't get people, even if I subbed back, I wouldn't watch the content, what's the point?
 
It's frustrating when they sub, ask you to check out their channel (I'll usually sub, especially if I enjoy their content and it's good to see and watch different people's videos so you can learn what works and what doesn't work) and they unsub super fast or just never watch your videos! I don't like the "sub hungry" people out there! I would never comment on someone else's channel asking them to check out my videos, I would just comment a regular comment about their video, if they check my videos out great, if not...oh well!
 
I agree with mostly everyone in this thread it is just frustrating when someone subs but does not watch your content because it does not help your channel at all!!
