Sub 4 sub does work sometimes?

Hey guys I know there is alot of topics talking about sub 4 sub and how it does not help your channel by having useless subs who don't watch your content. While that's true, I believe sub 4 sub can help in some ways, in 2 actually. First of all people who sub each other, on their home page it will pop up, that the channel has uploaded new content and sometimes that new content can be what that person, likes and even though they did sub 4 sub, he/she might start watching their content.

Also people don't like channels with little subscribers, like I got 85 subs, people would most likely watch me if I had 1000. Having more subs attracts more people to your channel, and makes them think something like "this channel seems interesting" whatever it is.

What's your opinion on this guys and girls?
 
I actually don't think people won't watch channels with very few subscribers. True, there may be the odd person who is superficial that way, but most people only care if your content is actually good. I wouldn't recommend sub 4 sub to anyone really.
 
I don't think sub 4 sub, works at all, because, if you sit down and think about it, people are just doing that so they can get more subs, but in the long run, it's the views that matters, and plus these people will just unsub, i'm not saying all will unsub, but a lot of them do, so honestly, you shouldn't do sub 4 sub, it doesn't really help.
