Stuck on 35 subs

So I recently been getting stuck around 35 subs. I dunno at the rate it is going right now. I mean I know I haven't uploaded much or promoted my channel. If I review myself there's too much silence or uhms. Maybe what I say is not interesting. I however have been thinking of buying another mic cause I'm kinda sick of the blue yeti that keeps picking up too much background noise. On the other hand I wonder if I should invest more money in this YouTube thing. I actually want to cause I love doing it.
 
Welcome to the "stuck" club. I have one channel stuck at 1190 for *weeks* now and another that's stuck around 44 subs. *sigh*

If you are having problems with the Blue Yeti, you need to adjust your settings. Make sure you are in cardioid mode, and turn the gain knob all the way down. Now talk closer to the mic. Unless you have a very noisy area, the noise will be cut, and talking closer like this seems to add a little bass to the recording, which sounds good for male commentators.

If you are stuck, work on a video you are extra proud of, then go promote it hard. This will make you feel good about your channel, and get growth going again.

Just reviewed your channel a bit. Your quality of content is good. I don't hear the mic issues you think you have. Sounds great to me. Video quality is also good.
Likely, you are struggling with growth because of the topics you are choosing, and the SEO you are using. You are making lot's of let's plays, which can be entertaining but the market is very saturated with them, making it hard for people to find your videos and make yours stand out. Try mixing in every third video to be something more specific and searchable. Make sure your titles and tags are filled with phrases that people will search.

For example, your Don't Starve video. Here is your title, and a title of one I saw suggested in the sidebar. His title is something that might be searched, while your is descriptive but not searchable.

"ONE DAY FLY" Don't Starve Console Edition [HD] Gameplay Walkthrough w/ iBenminja Part 1" 400 views

"Don't Starve How to make a Basic beginners Camp/Farm Legit Playthrough"
