Still enjoying Dislikes!

I don't know why, but I find dislikes really funny. I only have four, but each one somehow makes me happy. I never leave dislikes, as I just can't bring myself to care enough, so I guess I like the idea that I so profoundly bored or angered someone that they went out of their way to dislike a video.

Granted, I am also insane.

Two of the dislikes were on a LGBT-themed video, and I had expected more. One was about a medium YouTuber that has criticized Sam Pepper and gotten a lot of hate for it. One was just a random video. That last one is my favorite because they weren't disliking sexual or YouTuber preferences but just me!

What dislikes have you received, and how do you feel about them?????
 
Well some trolls went through my old Trouble in Terrorist Town videos and disliked them all (Twice) which although I'm kinda angry about it just means an extra few views on each of my videos and the thought that someone went through the effort of doing so.
 
I get a few on all my vids. theres always one pops up within the first hour of upload on every vid, and im dying to know who it is. They dont leave comments so....
Overall according to analytics, I have recieved 3,589 dislikes all together. I got no time to feel sad for each one XD

3,589 dislikes out of the views you get isn't that much, you must be doing something right!

I do wonder who the sad people are that go round disliking videos even though they like them or haven't watched them at all.

it's definitely nothing to complain about, but I can see how it can get to you if those who dislike don't even comment a reason. I would like to know why someone disliked my video, and although I do get criticism, its mostly positive and for the purpose of helping me improve
 
If you have haters you're doing something right =)

I am the same way, I rarely ever leave dislikes.
The only time I do is if they are an extremely good YouTuber and they put out complete and utter crap and
I feel they should know that I didn't enjoy it and I think they can do better because they obviously can.

Granted I've only done this about 2-3 times. xD

I feel like dislikes are okay when they aren't the spam/troll type. If it is a sincere rating then that is different.
Like for instance we rate apps, movies, products etc. This helps us understand if it's a good product or app. If you're not doing that on a video then it is just wrong xD

I'm pretty similar. Honestly the only time I'll leave a dislike is if I REALLY didn't like the video. Or I 1 channel in particular that legitimately wants to see how many people liked vs disliked his videos, so for him I'll leave a dislike because I know he really wants to know if you disliked it. But if I do that, I'll always leave a comment too so that they know why I didn't like the video.

All in all though, I think I hit the like button about 1000x more than the dislike haha
