Still can't link Twitter..

So I posted a while back with this and said I fixed the issue, no I didn't, I thought I did, but what actually happened is it switched to this random channel which I assume is the Google Account's main channel and can't be deleted and links it to that. Now every time I try to do this it switches to that.

This is how it looks when I go to my channel and try to link:

So I click Connect, and it brings up Twitter, which asks me to authorize it, which I do, it closes and that page doesn't change, so I click save, and then I am switched to another channel which honestly I don't want..

I tried clearing cache and stuff, what I haven't tried is the YT App or another Twitter Account.

Is there anyway to delete this channel? Or is there any fix or way to auto post to twitter.

I really want to know who works on YouTube at Google, because every time they fix something they mess something up, and if I was in control I would have them taken out of that team if they can't produce a functional site. I understand issues happen, but it's how they keep happening, and they last a long time.
 
Settings > advanced settings > delete channel

Wait never-mind I think that must be the channel connected to your gmail, I believe this is not deletable.

Yeah, and even when doing stuff on my channel it switches to it. I can link my Social Media fine to that channel.

I sometimes question who codes this s**t at YouTube... ._.

I was about to say lol, it's like the default channel connected to the Gmail.

This seems like an issue on YouTube's end. When you sign in via the app, have you set your unused account as the default? This can actually change the default account that's logged into sometimes on the desktop browser, I used to have it set to my old channel but it gave me the option to switch last time I used the app. It may somehow be conflicting with YouTube especially if you're logged into the app at the sametime as a different account, that's just a theory though, maybe try using the desktop browser without being logged in elsewhere. I sometimes get issues where it defaults to my Gmail account as well but that's rare and usually when YouTube is having problems with servers, sometimes it just outright logs me out lol. Otherwise you could try using the "send feedback" option and explain everything, it could just be an issue with your account in general, somehow. Might take a few weeks for them to fix as well.

Tried logging out on everything and it still happens, also reading comments on some how to link your twitter to youtube videos I'm not the only one with the issue, god Google.. ._.
 
A lot of this has made me crazy too. Somehow during the sign-up process, we ended up with a "main" Google/YouTube account PLUS one for our parody vids. I only wanted one account in the first place, but oh well.

Then I have the same annoyance that Google wants to select the unused "main" account every time I sign in. I was excited last week because an option *finally* came up that asked my to select my preferred primary account, with a "don't ask me anymore" option. So, I hit the parody account and told it to remember that. Worked great for about a day. Yup. Then went back to crap.

I've also never been able to link my videos to post to a Facebook "Pages" profile. But I Google-d that (ha ha) and apparently that's a thing that just doesn't work. Twitter and Google+ work great, but no Facebook. Blargh...

This same issue that me and you are having actually happened when they introduced the multi-channels per account, I wonder how ling it takes them to fix it and the Connecting account issue..
