Starting up a new channel

When you say, doing a review. Does that mean I can show clips, but just not the whole game or extended periods of the game. I just want to gauge what would be allowed. I wouldn't want to get started and find out I was completely wrong.

You know RayWilliamJohnsons vids? How he shows clips and then talks about them? That sort of thing.

NBA footage is fair game to be seen and uploaded on YouTube and will never be taken off as the NBA finds that it will only increase the popularity of the game. For that reason, you can find entire games on YouTube and will never get taken down.. Does that still count as Copyright footage?

Look for information online about using clips. I guarantee they will have some legal language about it somewhere (and it probably won't say it is OK, but who knows)

Review or educational. If you are posting and trying to teach, you have a better argument.
That said, YouTube comes down to "if NBA wants to punish you, they win" because YouTube follows their own interpretation of fair use.
