I think that research is a very big part in how well you can actually do with what you're making your videos about. I think 99% of the people that start their first YouTube account just jump into things thinking that it will be incredibly easy but then 99% of those 99% really quickly realize that it's much more difficult than it seems. A lot of people seem to be bringing up their username haha, but I agree that planning is really important, especially if you're trying to create a schedule for your content and for your viewers to watch.
