Start over?

I feel it's better to make a full LP when you have a bigger following, as not everyone wants to watch 100 parts with 20 minutes each of a full game played by some random people :p
And thank you! We might use the name, but maybe adress it a bit differently. If that made sense :p
Or we could simply put all our videos unlisted for all I know. We'll figure out what will be the best for us, need to consult with my partner too.

Well yeah, if you read Faptains post above, it wouldnt really be a lp, its a lp/montage mix. I find montages kinda more 'secondary' videos if that makes sense. Have you guys changed, maybe thats what caused the drop?
You do know I was talking about your current name, right? haha.

Yes, I do know that :P
I'm not sure. We might have changed, I don't know.

I feel like we had more fun doing it when we first started out.

Take it from a guy that started over 3 or 4 times, don't do it.

It might see like the best idea because your audience is not active but that's the thing with Youtube, some people sub and then don't check the channels (you can blame that on a lot of things). So just keep your channel, if you wanna change your content then you should go right ahead but you shouldn't delete any of your old stuff IMHO.

We get almost no views and stuff on our channel, so I was thinking we might just as well start over from scratch.

And stop with full LP's, and just do "Best of montages" and horror videos instead.
It's very discouraging when we get little to no activity on our channel, and it makes me feel "why bother uploading".

So I think that shorter videos, montages and no full blown Let's Plays can help bring some more activity.
Eventually start doing LP's when we have an active follower base.

What's your thoughts?
This is why channels die, because people give up, I know someone who has made 11,000 videos and now has 1 million subs but at the time he was getting no views at all.
Be persistent!

I learned to start out by doong short videos, ive always done video 1min - 3min an 3 mins is a lot to me. Its a good start to start out that way because people dont know you enough to wanna watch you that long.

I was replying to when you said, "shorter videos."

What should I do with it then?
Because people can still see our old content, and most of those aren't exactly amazing. The only decent thing I feel we have done so far is our Super Mario 3D World series (which we haven't been able to record for a while, due to the third person in it haven't been available).
And a few videos here and there.

If we were to start all over again, people wouldn't have any expectations. And if they subbed to our current channel, with new content, they might go back and watch some of our old videos and be like "Eh, this sucks!" and then just leave our channel.

But it's not encouraging to make new videos when you're not having fun with it.
So something has to change.

Keep going on the channel you have. Just start taking it in a new direction, shorter videos in your case. People who are subbed to your channel now will see that you've done something different, and will probably take a look. It's better than having 0 subscribers.

I've given it some thought, and I think we will decide to keep going on our current channel.
But there will be changes made, and also a rebranding.

The convert will be done when we are finished with our Mario series.
It will be fun to take our channel in a different direction, and also to play more around with the Lunchbox concept. (I have a few ideas in mind.)
